COMPETITION :: SUMMARY

This website contains everything you’d need to know regarding the ES Art competition. A lot of the information is repeated twice or even three times in different sections throughout the site. Please take a little time to read the site and if you'd like to take a shortcut, you can always read the FAQ section.

Important Dates:

• The Extended Deadline for the competition is: December 22nd, 2007
• The Winners will be notified via email by: December 29th, 2007
• The Winners will be announced on the site by: December 30th, 2007
• The Art Festival in Miami (ARTundressed): May 2rd & 4th, 2008
• The Exhibition & Book Release at the Festival: May 2rd - 4th, 2008
• Winners Exhibition Tour 6 months, 6 cities: Miami, Los Angeles, New York, Amsterdam, Germany, and London (Dates for each city will be released by December 30th)

Membership:
Membership to the Erotic Signature website is free.  There are two different levels of memberships: 1. The Competition; 2. The Community:

• Competing Artists – Once you’ve entered the competition, you automatically become a member of the Competition site, with full privileges.  If you would like to become a member of the Community site to interact and network with all the members of the site, you will need to register into the Erotic Signature's COMMUNITY site as well.



• Non-Competing Members – This is everyone else who's not competing, but is interested in the world of erotic art and would like to stay informed; as well as discover, enjoy and support the work of talented artists, whether established or upcoming talents.  To register for your free membership into the Erotic Signature COMMUNITY , click on the become a member link at the top right corner of the site.  Your free membership will allow you access to all the published work of the participating artists, our newsletters, upcoming events, member’s community and forums, the ability to cast votes on certain issues and more…

Copyrights:
All artists must hold the copyright ownership and rights of the images they submit for publication in the book “The World’s Greatest Erotic Art of Today - Vol. II”. All copyright ownership stays with the artist for this publication and in no way will your professional integrity as image owners be compromised. We may wish to use selected images only for the promotion of the book in the press and media; however no works will be printed on any other literature for sale other than the book.  By submitting the application form, the artists agree to this permission.

Entry Fees:
Artists are allowed to enter the competition just once (only 1 account or profile is allowed per individual) and submit up to 5 images (max) at $20 per image until the extended deadline of December 22nd, 2007:

• 1 image - $20 USD
• 2 images - $40 USD
• 3 images - $60 USD
• 4 images - $80 USD
• 5 images - $100 USD

Guidelines and Prizes:
You can select up to 5 images to enter the competition during your initial registration.  You are permitted to come back at a later date to add more images to your account, but not to exceed the maximum (5) images allowed.

• You must be at least 18 years of age or older, or the minimum required age in your community to view any adult oriented websites in order to enter this competition.

• Artwork must be of the following four (4) categories:
  Fine Art - Photography - Digital Art - Sculpture

• Artists are allowed to enter more than one category, if so desired.

• Artwork must not move outside of the boundaries of consenting sexuality. We will not tolerate any works that include references to minors, beastiailty, or violence.

• Uploaded images should be in the following format:
  • .jpg or .gif format;
  • Max 900 pixels on either side at 72dpi;
  • Less than 750kb


• One (1) Grand Prize Winner of $5,000 USD
  Four (4) Category Prize Winner of $1,000 USD for each category
  One (1) Viewer's Choice Award of $1,000 USD

• 200 winners (in addition to the above prize winners) will be selected and included in the book: "The World's Greatest Erotic Art of Today – Vol. 2" to be published and distributed internationally.

• Each of the 200 winners will receive a free copy of the book, and allowed to buy additional copies at the wholesale price.
  (artists are responsible for shipping & handling costs)

• All the Profit from the book sales donated to an HIV/AIDS charity to be chosen by all the members of the site.

• Your work will be juried by top museum curators and academics with many years of experience in the field of Erotic Art.

• Your winning artworks to be featured in a (6) six-month exhibition tour in Miami, Los Angeles, New York, Amsterdam and London; following the book release in May 2008.

• We accept Checks (Personal and Bank), Debit and all major Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover) with all on-line transactions. We also accept the above major Credit Cards, plus Debit cards, Checks (Personal and Bank), and Money Orders via mail as well. International entrants may pay fees by International Money Orders, Credit Cards, or a Check in U.S. funds drafted from a U.S. bank. For all money tranfer transactions such as a bank transfer or Western Union, please contact us to make arrangements.

TO ENTER THE COMPETITION (on-line):
To enter on-line, click on any of the ENTER COMPETITION links throughout the website. You can also find that link on the right side portion of all the pages on the site.  Once you’ve accessed the application form, you can then create your profile and continue to pay for your entry. The system will confirm your email by sending an activation code to the email address you've registered with. Check your INBOX, and if you don't see the notice there, check your JUNK, SPAM, or BULK emails. Make sure that you’ve set our email addresses (info@eroticsignature.com and (info@esartgroup.com) as ‘non-spam’ or ‘safe list’ for your email account. Once you've activated your account, you will be allowed to upload your images onto the site, and once the images are approved (usually within 24 hours), they will be sent to all the jurors to be voted on, and then displayed in the gallery section.  It’s as simple as that!!!

mail-in application link at the bottom left section (footer) of the Erotic Signature website that will allow you to download and print the form.
